Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope that this email finds you all well and safe. The term "unprecedented times" has been much used over the last couple of weeks but it is true that there is no road map for how to deal with the challenges that the COVID-19 virus and the Government response have thrown up. Thank you for your continued support and patience.
Our building has remained open for critical workers' families who have been unable to source childcare else where. We will continue to be available for those families over the Easter break and ask you to keep in touch through the staff email address when you do/do not require care so that I can best organise the staff. We will also contact you to advise when only one child will be present so that you can prepare your child for the unusual circumstances.
This week , our support staff are collating emails of children so that we can contact them directly to check in with them and see how they are getting on. We will be emailing you all this week and then start again after the Easter Break beginning the week of 20th April. Please email back to the year group email address to tell us how you are getting along. Send a photo and we will put some of them on a blog!
You may not see how busy teachers have been behind the scenes but they will be having the two weeks of the Easter break with their families and doing activities to recharge their batteries with their children and partners. Class pages will be updated again from the week beginning 20/4/20.
Please be mindful of doing what is best for your family over the coming weeks. The work will be there if you want it but we are not forcing anyone to have to do it all. It is a suggestion to support you with your children at this extended time away from school. If you need support or advice, please use the year group email addresses.
For parents of children with additional needs, Miss Ridge will be contacting you directly to see how we can best support your child. We will do our best to help.
Please take care of each other and keep reading,
