School Lunches

Our school lunches are prepared on site by Leeds City Council Catering Team.

We work closely with the catering teams and the special diets team to ensure children are provided with a tasty, balanced meal which takes into account their individual dietary needs.

Our school meals consist of a main course and a pudding.  Children also have the option to visit our salad bar and have access to water.

A school meal costs £3.10 a day. These are free for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 (Universal Free School Meals) and those who are eligible for Free School Meals (check if you are eligible - Apply for free school meals - GOV.UK)

Free School Meals

Children may be eligible for Free School Meals if their parent or carer receives one of the following benefits:

  • Universal Credit
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA).
  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.
  • The guaranteed element of Pension Credit.

In addition to receiving free meals, eligible pupils may attract Pupil Premium funding for the school. Pupil Premium is additional government funding designed to help schools provide extra support, resources and opportunities to improve children's educational outcomes and overall school experience.

We strongly encourage all families who believe they may be eligible to apply, as this funding can make a significant difference to the support available for your child during their time at school.

Packed Lunches

We advocate healthy packed lunches for the children at school. We’ve attached some links to useful websites for ideas.
