Welcome to Deighton Gates Primary School.

As the Executive Headteacher of Deighton Gates and Crossley Street, which is also located in Wetherby, I believe strongly in the power of collaboration and partnership working. With this in mind, we look forward to working alongside you in whatever capacity you are visiting our website.

Deighton Gates is a welcoming, nurturing, child-centred school, which values the contributions of all children and we are committed to ensuring every child is given the best possible start in life. Our CARE values of Compassion, Ambition, Resilience and Equality weave through our curriculum and remain at the centre of all we do, setting children up to make positive contributions to their local, national and global communities both now and in their futures.

I hope our website provides you with all the information you require, but if not, please get in touch with us and we will be happy to help. If you are considering Deighton Gates as your child's primary school choice, I encourage you to join one of our tours, to get a feel for what we can offer and to see our values in action!

We look forward to meeting you!

Mr G. Hirst
Executive Headteacher

At Deighton Gates, we are driven by a simple but powerful vision: Excellence for All. We believe that every child can succeed and that every child deserves access to an exceptional education. Through high expectations, outstanding care and a love of learning, we strive to help our pupils become confident, resilient and ambitious young people who are prepared for the next stage of their journey.

We recognise that education is most successful when schools and families work together. We place great importance on positive relationships with parents and carers and value the trust you place in us each day. By working in partnership, we can help every child develop the knowledge, skills, confidence and character they need to succeed both now and in the future.

Whether you are already part of our school community or considering Deighton Gates for your child, I hope our website gives you a flavour of what makes our school such a special place. I warmly invite you to explore our website and learn more about the opportunities and experiences we offer our pupils.
