Welcome to Year 1!

This is an exciting year where children build on the foundations laid in Reception and take the next step in their learning journey. We encourage children to become increasingly independent while maintaining the creativity, curiosity and sense of wonder that make learning enjoyable. From developing reading and writing skills to exploring new topics across the curriculum, every day brings fresh opportunities to learn, grow and achieve.
