Macbeth (A Shakespeare Story) which has be retold by Andrew Matthews.
You may have watched one of the films or even been to see the musical! However, we will read and discover the original version of the story and enter a world where invention and mischief can be found on every page and where magic might be at the very tips of your fingers!
A classic tale of witches, murder and madness which has been retold using accessible language and with the help of Tony Ross's engaging black-and-white illustrations.
You will also find many other of the adapted versions of Shakespeare's plays in our reading corner. Each play is vividly brought to life allowing these culturally enriching stories to be shared with as wide an audience as possible.
