For our final half term in Reception, our topic will be ...
THE SEASIDE!

You can keep up to date with our learning through observations and pictures on Tapestry.

What happens each day? 

 

MONDAY: Reading Books ALL Changed - Please still bring your reading book everyday. 

TUESDAY: Music with Mrs Hepburn in the afternoon. 
WEDNESDAY: PE Day - Please come to school in your PE kit & trainers every Wednesday.
THURSDAY: Forest School, Art or Science afternoon
SCHOOL LIBRARY VISIT - Please bring back Library books on a Thursday  
FRIDAY: Special Mention Assembly with Mrs Harrison 

 

Homework: Children in Reception should read their reading book at least 3 times per week and practise their phonics sound cards at home to accelerate their reading skills. If your child reads 3 times at home in one week, they get to move up a step on our super reading snake!  We also ask that children continue to practise their letter and number formation using the booklets in your parent pack throughout their time in Reception. In Summer Term, we send home a TRICKY WORD pack with tricky words from Phase 2 - 4. Please practise reading, writing and spelling these at home.
