£33,119 - £37,563 FTE

(£21,750 - £24,669 actual salary)

32.5 hours per week, term time plus training days (39 weeks per year).

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in supporting attendance, family support, safeguarding and pastoral interventions. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with pupils, families and external agencies to overcome barriers to learning and improve outcomes for vulnerable and disadvantaged children.

The successful candidate will

  • Demonstrate high expectations for pupil achievement, attendance, behaviour, and wellbeing.
  • Be committed to working collaboratively with staff, parents, carers, external agencies and other professionals to secure the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
  • Build and sustain positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues, creating a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the social, emotional and external factors that can impact children's engagement with education and overall wellbeing.
  • Show initiative, resilience and sound professional judgement when supporting pupils and families facing complex challenges.
  • Be passionate about removing barriers to learning and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential.
