Multiplication Times Table Check
All Year 4 children sit the multiplication times table check. In 2022, nationally 27% of pupils achieved full marks (25) and the average score was 19.8. At Deighton Gates in 2022, 52% of pupils achieved full marks and we had an average score of 22.09. Congratulations to our current Year 5 children who worked so hard to achieve such fantastic results.
As part of our homework policy we encourage all children to log onto TT Rockstars three times a week to increase their times table fluency. We regularly celebrate successes in TT Rockstars in our weekly special mention assembly.
