In Autumn 2, we continue with our 'Keep Calm and Carry On' topic. In history, we will explore the role of women, the Blitz and other aspects of continuity and change brought about by the war. We will learn about key events such as Dunkirk, D-Day and the Russian invasion. We will find out about the human and physical features of Russia today.
Another main area of learning will be our study of materials and their properties in Science. We will carry out investigations, testing everyday materials for hardness, solubility and conductivity and be able to explain reversible and irreversible changes.
Please continue to check this page regularly for important information about PE days, homework, spelling lists, curriculum coverage and useful links. It will also feature photographs and videos of our work and experiences.
